-The Overseas Environmental Cooperation Center (OECC) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) discussed how to build capacity of governments in developing countries to engage private sector partners/ or directly strengthen capacity of private sector partners.

-FSC-Indigenous Foundation identified capacity development areas necessary for indigenous peoples to effectively influence NDCs and national discussions regarding their climate change priorities as well as areas of capacity development that the donor community should ensure to focus on to empower Indigenous Peoples for climate change action.

-WECF underlined the need to strengthen capacity-building and investment for gender-sensitive climate initiatives  and open the space for exchanging experiences and views among local practitioners, researchers, and policymakers around the cross-cutting benefits of locally owned and gender-responsive climate mitigation and adaptation actions.

-Impulsouth engaged policy experts and practitioners from the global south to discuss progress and approaches for more effectiveness in capacity building for climate action and NDC implementation, especially for youth and with a gender sensitive approach.
